Finally! We get to share more of Jessica and Scott’s garden nursery engagement shoot. Call me old fashioned, but I could not blog in non-chronological order. We are super-duper excited for Jessica and Scott’s wedding day this summer. We caught a glimpse of Jessica’s wedding planner binder and it wouldn’t surprise us if they are ready to go! I wish I’d taken a picture of it. It’s quite impressive. Funny thing is that it belonged to a friend who gave it to Jessica and turned out to be useful!
Back to the engagement shoot. Jessica and Scott came up with the idea to do their engagement photos in a garden nursery. We were thrilled when they shared their idea and we were all over it. To top it off, Cedarcrest Garden generously opened their doors to us and let us use their space.
What we loved most about this engagement shoot were the impromptu moments! The living room shots were one. We had no idea what to expect when we walked in through the doors and we were so glad we did. This place was gorgeous. This was Scott’s first home. And he put a lot of sweat, love and work into the home. The living room was his favourite, and it was evident why. We had fun getting some posed shots to match the vibe of the room.
Next, the fair. We could not pass up the opportunity to get some engagement shots at the fair. We ran the idea by Jessica and Scott and they were on board! That spoke to the kind of personalities these two fabulous people are. It’s hard work to be in front of a camera for hours at a time. And Jessica and Scott might’ve wanted a little break. Needless to say, we were overjoyed that they agreed without hesitation. Enjoy the engagement photos of these two adventurous souls!
