Shooting Karina and Jeff’s engagement session was like shooting the engagement session of old friends! From music to photography, there always seemed to be something interesting to talk about with these two. As photographers, we understand how unfamiliar and strange it can feel when we are on the other side of the lens; despite expressing this, Karina was simply natural (…maybe because Jeff was beside her…), no really though, both Karina and Jeff were naturals and incredibly easy to photograph. We met up and started our session at Darlings Island – the day was just perfect! Despite two separate bouts of rain earlier in the day, the weather was ideal when we started. After photographing around Darlings Island, we moved location to the Hammond River floodplains, which unbeknownst to us was serendipitously the middle between where Karina and Jeff grew up! We love discovering little (but not so little) things about couples like this!
We’re glad that we have Karina and Jeff’s wedding day to look forward to! We’re especially looking forward to a hunting-camp-turned-to-wedding-day-venue-and-barn-built-specially-for-Karina-and-Jeff-by-Karina’s-dad!
